1. Safety
Painting can be hazardous work, whether it is working on a ladder or dealing with solvents and dust. Best left to a professional.

2. Health
Older homes and businesses may have been painted with lead-based paint, which can cause serious health effects when it is scraped or sanded in preparation for repainting. Professionals can protect you. I provide customers with EPA-produced pamphlets before any job that involves disturbing lead-based paint in a residence, so that they know what procedures I have to and will follow.

3. Preparation & Painting
Getting the surface properly prepared makes all the difference in the beauty and quality of the work. I know the value of doing it right at the start.

4. Choosing & Applying Paints
The choices today are more complicated than ever, but I know what paint works, how to use it, and will have the right tools for the job. I also assess your home and the right colors for the mood you want. I do design with interior image consulting and also paint or wallpaper application.

5. Cleanup and Disposal
With me, you don't have to worry about dealing with paint residues and other leftovers. Hazardous wastes that may be part of the job are best left to a professional.

Member of Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA). Licensed and Insured. Bachelor degree in Interior Design. Avid watcher of the home decorating channel (HGTV).

Base per hour rate for the work, as well as cost for supplies. But I am quick and savings-oriented.
