Start with a plunger: You can do this yourself...

A clogged kitchen sink can wreck a perfectly good evening in front of the tube. Backed-up sewer drains are hard to clear when you don't have the correct equipment. However, with two inexpensive tools and a little practice, you might be able to fix this mess in less than an hour. Again, start with a plunger, and don’t be scared to plunge hard.

Drain clogs / sewer lines can sometimes be difficult to unclear; you might try a hand snake to cleanout the drain. These can be purchased inexpensively at Home Depot.

If you are still having difficulty clearing the drain, call me and I will bring out the power snake to clear your drain. Sometimes the clog is just too far for the handy snake to reach, and the power snake is too expensive to purchase as a home owner. As a plumber it is tools of the trade.

Don't call the big plumbing companies for small jobs, unless you want to pay big dollars for small jobs.

For larger sewer drains, like sink cleanouts and toilet drains, I will have to bring out a larger drain cleaning machine.

For even larger sewer line clogs with out side cleanouts, which are clogged with heavy-duty roots, I will bring the heavy-duty root-cutting machine.

If I can’t clear your drain or unclog your sewer, I will not charge you!! There is just no incentive for me not to clear your drain. In other words, don’t replace sewers that just need root maintenance. It doesn't matter if the drain clog is small or large, start with me and save money!

I'm a certified plumber and also teach courses to people who seek to be certified, so I can solve the problems and also explain to laypeople how to self help first.
