I've worked on long and short projects, fiction and nonfiction, promotion and research. I can turn around your tri-fold pamphlet or web page in an afternoon. A book manuscript or website will take me two to four weeks.

If you're in the early stages of writing/revision, I read for flow, clarity, and consistency/reliability of the manuscript's tone and premise (figure an average of five pages per hour to estimate schedule). In later stages, my emphasis shifts to correct and consistent usage (estimate 10 to 15 pages per hour). While proofreading, I also check formatting and elements such as headers and page numbers.

I've edited season promotion materials for the We Always Swing Jazz Series and the program for the True/False Film Festival.
